Import Parts

Tired of creating the same parts in all of your harnesses? No more!

Use the Import Parts button in the Parts view to import parts from your other harnesses. https://docs.harness.design/parts#importing-parts

Wire Idents and Labels

Help identify your connections by adding colors and labels to ends of your wires. https://docs.harness.design/components/component-wire#assigning-idents

Let other people view your harness in a read-only mode. Make your harness public for everyone or share it with specific email addresses. https://docs.harness.design/features/feature-sharing

Save/Open from Local Data

You can now save your harness projects to local JSON files. Keep a record, manually modify them, scrape the data. Then load local files back into the editor when you need. https://docs.harness.design/features/feature-local-data

Twisted Wires

We’ve added support for twisting wires together. This is very similar to a cable - but twisty. https://docs.harness.design/components/component-twisted-wires

Connections View Sorting

You can now sort your connections by any column in the Connections view.

Mobile Support

You can now view your harnesses on mobile in read-only mode.

Other Improvements

Switch the direction of connections in the Connections view.
Add inline mated connectors to bundles in the Layout view.
Parts now open in a window instead of expanding in the table.
Double-click manufacturer, part number, description in the Parts table to edit it right there.
