These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of harness.design (“Service”) operated from New Zealand. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Accounts

Users must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and account
You are responsible for all activity under your account
Account deletion requests can be made by emailing

4. User Content and Ownership

All user generated content, including wiring harness designs, belongs entirely to the user
Designs are private by default. Sharing features may be added in the future
By using the Service, you grant harness.design the right to access your designs for support, debugging, and technical analysis
You are solely responsible for your content and any consequences of sharing it outside the Service

5. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Reverse engineer or copy the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data

6. Cookies and Technical Requirements

The Service uses essential cookies only. These are required for authentication, maintaining user sessions, and core functionality. Disabling cookies in your browser may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.

7. Beta Disclaimer

The Service is in beta and may be unstable or incomplete. Features, functionality, and design may change at any time without notice. You use the Service at your own risk.

8. Payment and Subscriptions

Currently, the Service is free. Future paid plans will be governed by separate terms, which will be published and must be accepted before payment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, harness.design and its affiliates are not liable for:

Any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service
Loss of designs, data, or functionality
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
Users may request account deletion via email

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
