Two plans to suit how you work. Free is great for getting started, and Pro removes the connection limit and adds private sharing, revisions, and team collaboration.
Pro is priced per seat — buy a seat for each person on your team who needs to edit.

Pro can be cancelled anytime, and a Free account can always open and inspect harnesses created on a paid plan.
How to Upgrade
In the app go to Main Menu → Account and select 
Upgrade to Pro or simply click https://app.harness.design/upgrade .
Choose whether you want to pay Monthly or Annually and select Upgrade now. This will take you to a Stripe payment window where you can pick the number of seats and your payment will be processed.
How Seats Work
Each Pro subscription includes a number of seats, chosen when you subscribe. One seat covers you; buy more seats to build a team and give each member full Pro access. You can change your seat count anytime from Manage subscription — changes are prorated automatically.
What is a Connection
A connection is a single conductor running between two components, such as a connector cavity, terminal, splice, resistor, or diode.
Some examples:
- A single wire = 1 connection
- A 4-core cable with a shield = 5 connections
- Twisted wires = 1 connection per wire
How to see the Number of Connections
Go to the Connections view and scroll to the bottom to see the number of connections in the harness.
How to cancel a paid plan
Go to the Main Menu → Account and select Manage subscription. Stripe will open up automatically. Select Cancel subscription.
What happens if I cancel?
If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period. Once the period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted — you keep all your harnesses and their data — but the paid features stop accepting new work:
- Any harnesses exceeding 100 connections will no longer accept new connections until the total is reduced below the limit. You can still use and edit those harnesses.
- Revisions you’ve already created stay intact. You can still view and restore them, but you can’t create new revisions until you’re back on a paid plan.
- Email sharing winds down. People you’ve already invited by email keep their access, and you can still view and revoke those shares, but you can’t send new email invites. Public link sharing remains available on Free.
- Team collaboration pauses. You keep ownership and full control of every harness — including any you moved into a team — but you can no longer invite members or assign seats. Renew your subscription to collaborate with your team again.
