Parts

The Parts view is a visual representation of the Part used in the harness. In this view you can add Parts, modify their properties and see the how many times they are used in the harness. This is used to generate the BOM.

Table

This is the list of all your Parts in the harness.

right-click anywhere on the canvas to add a Part or click the Add part button.

left-double-click a parts value to edit it.

left-double-click a parts icon or click the button to edit the part’s properties. More Info

Buttons

• Import parts - Imports parts from an existing harness. More Info
• Add part - Adds a new part to the Parts view. More Info
• View options - Opens the view options menu

View Options Menu Parts

• Part Number - Toggles the Part Number column on and off
• Manufacturer - Toggles the Manufacturer column on and off
• Description - Toggles the Description column on and off
• Quantity - Toggles the Quantity column on and off
• Read-only mode - Toggles read-only mode, which prevents any changes from being made to the harness
