Inviting Members

As the team owner, open the Team tab in your Account and click Invite member. Enter the person’s email address and send the invitation.

Inviting doesn’t send an email. The person you invite sees a notification inside harness.design the next time they open it while signed in with that email address. If they don’t have an account yet, they’ll need to create one using that same email address before they can see the invitation.

Reserving a seat with the invitation

If your team has a free seat, the invite dialog shows an Assign an Enterprise seat switch. Turn it on to reserve a seat for the invitee — the seat is held from the moment you send the invite and is allocated to them automatically when they accept.

A reserved seat counts against your seat pool right away, just like an allocated member seat.

Accepting an invitation

The invited person is notified the next time they open harness.design. They review and accept the invitation from Account → Team. On accepting, they join the team — and receive the reserved seat if you assigned one.

A user can belong to only one team. They must leave their current team before accepting an invitation to a different one.

Managing pending invitations

Pending invitations are listed in the Team tab. Use the options menu next to an invitation to assign or unassign its seat, or to revoke it.
