Wire Part
A single insulated conductor used to carry electrical current or signals between connection points.

| Part Number | Unique identifier for the wire part |
| Manufacturer | Company that produces the part |
| Description | Description of the wire part |
| URL | Link to datasheet or manufacturer website |
| Gauge | Cross-sectional size of the inner conductor |
| Color | Color of the wire’s insulation |
| Stripe | Color of the stripe on the wire’s insulation (if any) |
For gauge, you can enter the following units (set the default unit under Main Menu → Settings):
mm- Millimeters Squared (mm²)awg- American Wire Gauge (AWG)
Assigning a Wire Part
right-click a wire in the Schematic, Layout, or Connection View and select the desired Part.
