Wire Part
A single insulated conductor used to carry electrical current or signals between connection points.

For gauge, you can enter the following units (set the default unit under Main Menu → Settings → Harness settings):
mm²- Millimeters Squared (Metric)AWG- American Wire Gaugecmil- Circular Milkmil- Kilo Circular Mil
Insulation and Diameter are small dimensions: a plain number is read in mm, or in when the harness’s default length unit is imperial. You can also type the unit, such as 0.3 mm.
Cross Section
A wire part with a Gauge or a Diameter shows its Cross Section below the part image in its details: the conductor and insulation drawn to scale, in the part’s colours, with the overall diameter. The same sizes are used for the wire in bundle cross sections.

Select Wires on Net
All the wires on the same net can be selected by right-clicking a wire on the Schematic view and selecting Select wires on net. This is a quick way to assign a Wire part to all wires on the same net.
