Terminal Part

A conductive termination fitted to the end of a wire to provide a secure electrical and mechanical connection to another component or attachment point.

There are several types of terminals supported by harness.design:

• Ferrule - A simple metal tube that is crimped onto the end of a wire to provide a secure connection point.
• Ring Terminal - A terminal with a ring-shaped end that can be bolted or screwed onto a stud.
• Spade Terminal - A terminal with a forked end that can be easily connected and disconnected from a stud.
• Male Quick Connect - A terminal with a flat, blade-like end that can be inserted into a female quick connect.
• Female Quick Connect - A terminal with a receptacle end that accepts a male quick connect.
